Welcome to iLOUNGE Brow Bar, based in Carlton, East Riding of Yorkshire.

 

iLOUNGE specialises in brows but offers other treatments such as semi-permanent lashes & aesthetic treatments and is continually keeping up to date with any developments in the beauty industry.

 

ILOUNGE was founded in 2017 by Alice. Alice is extremely creative and since a very young age has had a creative flair; from making handmade cards for loved ones, painting canvas’ & having a passion for stationary she always knew she would do something creative. Alice studied fine art & graphic design followed by photography, Once she had finished her studies she took up the opportunity to travel and work abroad.

 

In 2015, Alice heard about a new treatment ‘LVL’ Lashes and was keen to start building her own business, so took the plunge and signed up for the course. Once qualified, friends, family & clients would ask if Alice could tidy their brows whilst she was doing their lashes so she decided it would be a great opportunity to start building something bigger. Alice researched into different brow courses and decided if she was going to train, she wanted to be trained by the best and ethos that is at the heart of the company to this day.

 

In 2017 Alice booked onto the HD BROWS course where she really found her niche! She has since been awarded HD’s stylist of the month in August 2019 and her work is often showcased on HD’s social media. Always with the client at the forefront of her mind, Alice was one of the first people in the country to be trained in HD Microblading powered by KB Pro (Karen Betts). Karen Betts is an industry leader in the semi permanent make up world. This enabled Alice to be able to offer any clients who were unable to get the brow look they wanted using the HD regrowth programme an alternative to getting their dream brows.

 

Alice has continued to develop professionally and trained as HD Pro and Master Stylist in early 2019. More recently she has trained in eyebrow lamination so she can provide the latest brow trend ‘fluffy brows’ to her clients.

 

Alices dream was always to have her own salon and that dream that came true in 2020, the salon will always strive to offer a treatment to suit every client and provide a top-class experience in a welcoming friendly atmosphere.
